The Interact Club of Mahanama College was chartered in the year 1989. It is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Downtown and has been a part of the Interact District 3220 for over 32 years. Throughout its years, the Interact Club of Mahanama College has been displaying the purpose of Interact in its true view by putting forward successful and beneficial projects such as Sware Samadhi, Voice of Interact, Bee Hostel, Eco-Fest, and Feel The Beat. By organizing such events we as individuals experience a new side of ourselves and what we are capable of, which in return helps us achieve higher standards.

Through the success of the projects launched, the Interact club of Mahanama College has become one of the most outstanding clubs of Interact District 3220. The Interact club of Mahanama College also had its fair share in organizing projects on behalf of the Interact District council such as the District Conference, District Assembly, District Avurudu celebrations, and Interact Weekly celebrations. The Interact Club of Mahanama College has a proud history of achievements both at the club and district level, by being awarded many citations and awards throughout the past years.

For the years 2024/2025, President- Int. Pabasara Warnajith and the board of executives and members work under the theme of “Discover thyself within” to get the club standards to a higher level and do a greater good for society.
